  • Muss ich mir mal anschauen.


    Jedenfalls sehen einige Unternehmen im Baltikum ziemlich günstig aus. Wobei 2008 dort ein Paradis an Bewertungen gewesen sein muss. Was ich halt spannend im Gegensatz zu Polen finde, ist, dass es SmallCaps sind. In Polen sind die SmallCaps ziemlich verschuldet.


    Die hier sind auch recht lustig bewertet. Großaktionär ist auch hier Hauptkunde. Leider ein wenig viel Schulden im Vergleich zum Ebitda. KPV10 4,25. Mit 10-Jahresmarge =4,89.


    Name: AS Latvijas balzams
    Core business: Production of alcoholic beverages
    Auditor: SIA "Baker Tilly Baltic"
    Date of listing: 15.10.1998. (I-list); from 21.05.2007 Baltic Secondary List


    Background information:
    AS Latvijas balzams is a leading producer of alcoholic beverages in the Baltic States that produces more than 100 different kinds of alcoholic drinks. AS Latvijas balzams major shareholder is SPI Regional Business Unit BV which owns 89.53% of the companys equity capital.
    The Company products are exported to nearly 30 countries around the world, while in performing export orders of S.P.I. Group to more than 70 countries around the world.

  • Ich denke ein Großteil der Bewertungsabschläge der baltischen (und auch anderer ostereuropäischer) Unternehmen liegt an mangelndem Vertrauen in die Rechtssicherheit und schwer durchschaubaren Aktionärsstrukturen, in denen man als Minderheitsaktionär auch mal schnell über den Tisch gezogen werden kann.


    Im übrigen besteht immer ein Restrisiko, dass Putin oder einer seiner Nachfolger sich die baltischen Staaten wieder in einen russischen Staatenbund reintegriert.

    Denke eher an dem mangelden Inlandsvermögen und dem Desinteresse von Auslandsinvestoren seit dem 2008er Extrem-Absturz.


    Und welche Rechtssichetheit soll man denn im achsotollen Deutschland/Europa noch haben? Linke in F und I an der Macht. Und in D werden AKWs abgeschaltet und Solarförderung gekürzt. Und von irgendwelchen Hess-IPO-Nummern braucht man garnicht reden.

    Die Strukturen sind durchschaubar. Warum soll man immer nur bzw nur in OE über den Tisch gezogen werden? Dann dürfte kein Euro mehr nach China fliessen...

    Im Baltikum sicherlich nicht. In der Ukraine eher.


    Aber welche Risiken habe ich in Deutschland? Was passiert denn wenn die SPD nur mit Hilfe der Linken den Kanzler stellen kann? Glaubst du wirklich die machen dann eine große Koalition mit Kanzler Merkel?


    Und die politischen Risiken in PIGS dürften weitaus größer sein. Bürgerkriegsriskio. Schlechtere Bilanzen. Aber PIGS ist spannend :D

  • Wie sieht es denn mit Informationsbeschaffung aus? Bei der Molkerei geht die Website nicht, die Brennerei und die Möbelfabrik haben immerhin englischsprachige Berichterstattung. Sehr schön schlicht übrigens die Berichte (ok, bei Klaipdos baldai ein bisschen sehr schlicht, da sind es Scans in ein PDF gepackt). Aber über die normale Berichterstattung hinaus sieht es mit Recherche vermutlich eher schlecht aus, oder?

    Mit Hilfe der Börsenseite habe ich mir gestern mal die Unternehmen rausgesucht, die 2008/09 halbswegs gut über die Runden kamen und dann die KxV bei Bloomberg rausgesucht:



    Das zweite Transport-Unternehmen sieht auch recht nett aus. Allerdings nur 1,2 Mio. Euro MarketCap.


    Die Gas-Versorger will ich mir auch mal näher anschauen.


    City Service habe ich schon in Fonds als Position gesehen.


    Der 3. Nahrungswert stellt auch Käse/Milch her.

    Ich handle nicht. Ich sammle ja erstmal nur Ideen, da ich osteuropäische Aktien im Augenblick ziemlich günstig finde. Und wenn die Märkte im Westen vllt die nächsten Jahre seitwärts laufen, könnte Osteuropa vllt wieder in den Fokus kommen.

  • Ich habe mir mal einen kleineren Schluck des Balzams an der Boerse Stuttgart gegoennt.
    Fuer mich ist die Bude unglaublich guenstig bewertet angesichts eines wachsenden Geschäfts mit offensichtlich starken regionalen Marken. Da koennte das KGV auch locker 15 erreichen - 3,x sind ein Witz.
    Wenn sich ein Grosser mal eine Distribution im Baltikum sucht, waere das wohl auch die Untergrenze bei einer Uebernahme. Und wenn das Zeug aetzend schmeckt: Die lokalen Schnaepse in Ungarn (Zwack) und China (Maotai) sind auch megaaetzend und selbst ein torfiger Single Malt schmeckt wahrscheinlich 97% der Deutschen nicht....


    Und die Schuldensituation sehe ich ueberhaupt nicht kritisch mit 60% Eigenkapital. Fuer so ein stabiles Geschäeft waeren auch 25% Eigenkapital eigentlich in Ordnung und unter Kapitalkostengesichtspunkten sogar zu bevorzugen ....
    Also herzlichen Dank fuer den Tip auf den ich so sicher nicht gekommen waere....

    The major shareholder is SPI Regional Business Unit BV which owns 89,53% of the company's equity capital.


    Vermutlich besteht ein Beherrschungs- und Gewinnabführungsvertrag? Deshalb zahlen sie wohl auch keine Dividende. Eine Dividende würde wenigstens für's Warten auf einen Squeeze-Out entschädigen.


    Was passiert, wenn der Großaktionär die Minderheitsaktionäre nicht fair behandelt und bei einem zukünftigen Squeeze-Out anstelle eines erhofften Premiums Dir z.b. nur 1,- EUR pro Aktie zahlen will?
    Das wäre genau so ein Fall wie ich ihn oben angedeutet habe: Du hast vielleicht irgendwelche Rechte - aber die musst Du dann auch wahrnehmen und durchsetzen können.

    Das hatte ich auch überlegt, aber warum sollte dann das EK ansteigen. Dazu müssten die restl. 11% ja auch was abbekommen. Siehe Audi, da erhält jeder eine VW-Dividende.


    Desweiteren würden sie ja nicht extra erwähnen, dass man keine Dividende fürs letzte Jahr zahlt.


    Das Risiko ist m.M. nach eher darin zu sehen, dass Großaktionär = Hauptkunde. Vllt könnte man bei einem anderen Kundenstamm höhere Renditen erzielen, sprich es wird vllt Rendite zu Gunsten des Großaktionärs verschoben.

    Hm, das Problem bei Order in Deutschland sind halt die riesigen Spreads.
    10% und mehr, das ist schon sehr happig.


    Ob die denn wenigstens mal wieder sinken, sollte das Baltikum wieder etwas mehr in den Fokus geraten?

  • Ich hatte zum Zeitpunkt der Threaderöffnung garnicht geschaut ob man in D diese Aktien handeln kann. Dachte wenn man an Polen-Aktien erst seit Sommer rankommt und auch nur an die großen Unternehmen, dann wird man an Baltikums-Aktien nicht wirklich rankommen.


    Ich sehs so: Stagniert der westliche Markt, dann werden günstige Märkte gesucht ==> Osteuropa könnte wieder in den Fokus geraten. Crasht der westliche Markt, dann werden die günstigen OE-Werte auch leiden. Und man sieht ja an den Bewertungen was 08/09 so möglich war.

  • Auf meiner Liste oben, war neben der recht teueren Olainfarm auch noch Grindeks drauf.
