    Zitat

, active value investing has been digging manager graveyards since 1900…but that is the nature of the active value investing game…long horizons are required and volatility relative to the standard benchmarks can be expected.

  • Das steht im File:

This file was created by CMPT_ME_BEME_OP_INV_RETS_DAILY using the 201508 CRSP database. It contains value- and equal-weighted returns for portfolios formed on BEME and OP.The portfolios are constructed at the end of June. BEME is book value at the last fiscal year end of the prior calendar yeardivided by ME at the end of December of the prior year. OP is operating profits (sales - costof goods sold - selling, general and administrative expenses - interest expense) divided by bookat the last fiscal year end of the prior calendar year.Annual returns are from January to December.
