Hallo Zusammen,
nach dem Motto "Think different" und da in diesem Forum weitestgehend nur deutsche und amerikanische Aktien behandelt werden, stelle ich einmal einen Titel der Emerging Markets vor.
Icici Limited aus Indien.
Es handelt sich hierbei um einen Finanzdienstleister, dessen Hauptaktivitäten u.a. in der Beschaffung von mittel- und langfristiger Projektfinanzierung für den Infrastruktur- und Fertigungssektor, sowie in der Unternehmensfinanzierung und einiger anderer Finanzdienstleistungen liegen. Zudem ist man im letzten Jahr ins Versicherungsgeschäft eingestiegen.
Interessant ist hier auch, daß Icici's long-term foreign currency rating am 14.01.02 von Moody's heraufgestuft wurde. Und zwar von Ba2 (dieses Rating hat der Staat Indien) auf Ba1. Icici hat somit ein besseres Rating als Indien. Icici ist übrigens das einzige indische Unternehmen, welches ein besseres Rating als der Staat hat.
Die antizyklischen Kriterien sind aufgrund folgender Daten/Kennzahlen meiner Meinung nach erfüllt:
Valuation Ratios
Price/Book (mrq) 0.57
Price/Earnings (ttm) 7.63
Price/Sales (ttm) 0.56
Die Marktkapitalisierung liegt mit 903.2 Millionen $ über den geforderten 150 Millionen $.
Außerdem ist die Aktie innerhalb eines Jahres um wenigstens 50 % gefallen.

Performance Review -- Nine Months Ended December 31, 2001
MUMBAI, India--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 24, 2002--The Board of Directors of ICICI Limited (NYSE:IC - news) at its meeting held at Mumbai today, approved the audited accounts of ICICI for the nine months ended December 31, 2001 (Apr-Dec 2001). The Board of Directors of ICICI also approved an interim dividend of 55%, i.e. Rs. 5.5 per share (excluding dividend tax) in respect of the financial year ending March 31, 2002. The Board has fixed February 16, 2002 as the Record Date for the purpose of payment of interim dividend. The Board approved the unaudited consolidated accounts under Indian GAAP and considered the unaudited consolidated US GAAP financial statements of ICICI for Apr-Dec 2001.
Results -- Indian GAAP
The consolidated profit after tax of ICICI and its subsidiaries as per the unaudited consolidated Indian GAAP accounts increased 17.5% to Rs. 965 crore in Apr-Dec 2001 from Rs. 821 crore in the nine months ended December 31, 2000 (Apr-Dec 2000).
ICICI's profit before tax as per the audited unconsolidated Indian GAAP accounts increased 21.3% to Rs. 1,053 crore in Apr-Dec 2001 from Rs. 868 crore in Apr-Dec 2000. Provision for taxation increased to Rs. 189 crore (including Rs. 95 crore on account of deferred tax provision) in Apr-Dec 2001 from Rs. 74 crore in Apr-Dec 2000, due to the creation of deferred tax provision as per the accounting standard, which came into effect in the current year. After allowing for the deferred tax provision, the profit after tax increased 8.7% to Rs. 864 crore in Apr-Dec 2001 from Rs. 794 crore in Apr-Dec 2000.
The profit before tax increased 12.2% to Rs. 311 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2001 (Q3-2002) from Rs. 278 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2000 (Q3-2001). After allowing for the higher provision for tax, the profit after tax was Rs. 256 crore in Q3-2002 compared to Rs. 253 crore in Q3-2001.
Unaudited Consolidated Accounts under US GAAP
Net income after cumulative effect of change in accounting principle decreased marginally to Rs. 605 crore (US$ 125 million) in Apr-Dec 2001 from Rs. 608 crore (US$ 126 million) in Apr-Dec 2000. Net income includes an amount of Rs. 89 crore on account of the cumulative effect of change in accounting principle consequent to the application of FAS-141 and 142 from April 1, 2001.
